Financial Planning Analyst (Houston)

Position SummaryOur client, a high-growth company in North Houston, is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to support financial reporting, planning, and data analytics. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build both FP&A and business intelligence (BI) skills.Role Responsibilities:Support monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management insightsAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesAnalyze key business metrics including revenue, margins, and operating expensesBuild and maintain Power BI dashboards and reportsExtract and validate data using SQL and reporting systemsPartner with internal stakeholders on ad hoc financial analysisQualifications:A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business analytics or managementAt least 1 year of experience working in financial analysisStrong Excel skills with solid understanding of financial statementsExperience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) and SQL requiredAn analytical mindset with strong attention to detail is highly preferredPrior experience working in manufacturing is a major plus
