Merchant Services Tech Representative

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Service / Tech Support Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our merchants. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service to our merchants via phone, email, and chat.Assist merchants with technical issues related to payment processing equipment, gateways, software, and other related products.Resolve issues related to chargebacks, disputes, account changes, and other payment-related concerns.Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.Educate merchants on best practices related to payment processing and fraud prevention.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and issues in our CRM system.Qualifications/Requirements1 - 2 years Bankcard experienceEffective verbal and written communication skillsProficient with phone etiquette and customer service skillsComputer skills in Windows environment; word processing, spreadsheets, internet based applications, contact management software and other processing systems.Knowledge of point of sale hardware and softwareAbility to learn company products/services quickly in a fast paced environmentPegasus database is a plusAptitude to interpret and put in practice various instruction sets
