Java Backend Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Java Backend Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑performance backend services and APIs.Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Java Backend Developer Job Responsibilities IncludeDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performance Java backend services using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices aligned with business and system requirements.Deploy, manage, and optimize backend applications on AWS using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.Write clean, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and apply best practices for performance, logging, and error handling.Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure data security and compliance across backend systems.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.8–10 years of professional experience in Java backend development.Strong hands‑on expertise in Java (Core & Advanced) with frameworks such as Spring Boot/Spring MVC, including REST API and microservices development.Proven experience deploying, managing, and optimizing backend applications on AWS, with a solid understanding of cloud security, performance tuning, and scalability.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
