Sit Down Forklift Operator

If you're passionate about heavy equipment operation and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our success! *Duties* * Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse * Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual counting to ensure accurate stock levels * Pick orders efficiently using order picker techniques while adhering to safety protocols in production environments * Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement of materials on pallets or racks * Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance and safety compliance * Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper documentation procedures are followed * Follow OSHA standards, forklift safety protocols, and warehouse safety standards at all times to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment *Experience* * Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures * Knowledge of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols * Experience with order picking, manual handling, heavy lifting, and materials handling techniques * Prior work in warehouse management or supervision roles is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly * Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and shipment verification accurately * Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes along with proficiency in using lift trucks such as clamp trucks or Hi-Lo forklifts Join us as a Sit Down Forklift Operator if you're ready to bring energy to your workday while maintaining the highest safety standards.
