Garden State Bins is a rapidly growing sanitation services company specializing in residential bin cleaning, commercial dumpster sanitation, fleet washing, and municipal power washing services. As we expand into new territories across the United States, we are seeking motivated and operationally minded Territory Managers to oversee local market execution.
The Territory Manager plays a critical leadership role in launching and scaling each market by managing sales teams, coordinating service operations, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring a consistently high level of service quality.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for both revenue growth and operational execution within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Door-to-Door Sales Team Leadership (Seasonal – Approx. 16 Weeks)
The Territory Manager will oversee the performance and logistics of the territory’s residential sales teams.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating with GSB Corporate Sales Director (Sean Smith)
Running daily morning sales meetings with sales representatives
Monitoring and recording daily sales performance metrics
Managing team schedules and territory assignments
Supporting recruiting and onboarding of seasonal sales representatives
Ensuring sales teams are properly equipped and deployed in assigned neighborhoods
Maintaining accountability and morale within the sales team
2. Route Coordination & Quality Control
The Territory Manager will work with corporate operations to establish efficient service routes and maintain service quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating with GSB Corporate Operations to design efficient service routes
Monitoring route performance and making adjustments as needed
Conducting random service quality spot checks in the field
Monitoring feedback from customer satisfaction surveys (text/email)
Addressing service issues quickly to ensure strong customer retention
Maintaining high standards for reliability and customer experience
3. Truck & Equipment Setup / Maintenance
The Territory Manager is responsible for ensuring all trucks and equipment are ready for daily operations.
Morning Responsibilities
Confirm all trucks are operational
Ensure water tanks are filled and systems are functioning properly
Check pressure washing systems, hoses, pumps, and equipment
Evening Responsibilities
Ensure proper grey water disposal according to company procedures
Confirm trucks return without mechanical issues
Review driver reports for any operational concerns
Additional Responsibilities:
Schedule necessary equipment maintenance
Coordinate with GSB Corporate for backup trucks during service periods
Maintain equipment readiness and cleanliness
4. Driver Scheduling & Personnel Coordination
The Territory Manager oversees daily driver operations and scheduling.
Responsibilities include:
Managing weekly driver schedules
Coordinating time-off requests and sick coverage
Ensuring trucks are properly staffed each day
Maintaining driver accountability and performance standards
Supporting hiring and training as the territory expands
