With Commercial properties spanning over 20+ states, they are continuing to expand their footprint and in need of great additions to the team.Why join us?Nation-wide name within the industryStrong stability and career growth from withinGreat leaders who are continuing to expand and develop talentCompetitive benefits packagesJob DetailsPrepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for a portfolio of commercial propertiesManage the annual budgeting and forecasting process for assigned propertiesReview and analyze CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and ensure accurate billing to tenantsAssist with the preparation of annual property tax assessments and appealsCoordinate with property managers to ensure timely and accurate recording of property transactions, including lease renewals, rent increases, and capital expendituresPrepare and file monthly sales tax returns for assigned propertiesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and company policies and proceduresAssist with the coordination of audits and tax filings for assigned propertiesProvide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of experience in property accounting, preferably in commercial real estateStrong knowledge of CAM reconciliations and accounting for propertiesProficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (preferably Yardi)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsInterested in hearing more?
