Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianPay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hourLocation: Northbrook, IL 60062Facility Overview:This is a large-scale food production and manufacturing facility featuring advanced equipment, including spirals, ovens, and horizontal mixers.Shifts Available:Third Shift (8:30 PM – 5:00 AM)Second Shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM)First Shift (4:30 AM – 1:00 PM)Schedule: Monday – Friday, with weekend and overtime availability as neededRole Summary:The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing both preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure smooth operations of production equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills and solid electrical experience. While PLC programming is not required, prior PLC experience is preferred and may lead to opportunities as a Controls Technician.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMaintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety protocolsSupport production teams by minimizing downtime through efficient problem-solvingAssist with continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiencyQualifications:Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair skillsSolid electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repairPLC experience preferred; candidates with PLC exposure may be considered for Controls Technician opportunitiesAbility to work assigned shifts, with flexibility for weekends and overtimeABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
