This is your opportunity to drive high‐impact projects, mentor junior engineers, and support the ongoing evolution of smart and resilient infrastructure.What You'll Do:Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for traffic engineering and intelligent transportation systems projects, including signal systems and traffic operationsPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staffMonitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in critical transportation infrastructureComplete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting safe, efficient, and cost‐effective mobility solutionsProvide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staffWhat You Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredFDOT experience preferredSignal timing, traffic operations experience preferredAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredIMSA level II certification preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Lead dynamic traffic and ITS projects that improve safety, optimize mobility, and integrate cutting‐edge technologiesMentor and inspire junior engineers passionate about shaping the future of transportationCollaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Traffic & ITS team is doing?
