Maintenance MechanicThe Maintenance Mechanic supports the repair, maintenance, and reliable operation of heavy manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This position focuses on mechanical troubleshooting, precision repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime in demanding industrial conditions.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on heavy industrial machinery to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation of production equipment.Service, repair, and rebuild gearboxes and mechanical drive systems to restore equipment to optimal performance.Perform precision mechanical work, including tear-downs, inspections, and rebuilds of motors and other mechanical equipment.Support breakdown maintenance activities by responding quickly to equipment failures and implementing effective corrective actions.Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy industrial machinery.Experience servicing and rebuilding gearboxes and mechanical drive systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with additional machinery such as conveyors, formers, furnaces, die machines, and general manufacturing and material handling equipment.Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and reliability-focused maintenance practices.Interest in leadership development or the ability to take initiative in driving maintenance improvements.Equivalent degree, technical schooling, or formal training in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or a related field.Why Work Here?You will join a stable manufacturing operation that invests in its people through strong benefits, performance incentives, and work-life balance. You will work a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime required as business needs arise.Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Frankfort, IN.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
