Position OverviewBusy general contractor office seeking a professional, organized, and friendly Front Desk Receptionist / Office Assistant to help manage daily office operations and create a welcoming environment for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their administrative career and looking to gain experience in the construction and administrative field.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist clients, vendors, subcontractors, and visitorsAnswer and direct incoming phone calls professionallyManage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveriesMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front office areaHelp ensure the office runs smoothly on a daily basisCoordinate and handle general office issues and maintenance needsManage office supplies, equipment, and vendor/service appointmentsAssist with keeping office systems, schedules, and daily operations organizedSchedule appointments and coordinate meetingsAssist with filing, scanning, data entry, and office organizationSupport project managers and office staff with administrative tasksHandle basic QuickBooks or invoice entry support (preferred)Assist with social media or marketing tasks if neededQualificationsPrevious front desk, receptionist, or administrative experience preferredExperience in a construction or general contractor office is a plusProfessional appearance and positive attitudeStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and dependableAbility to multitask and work independentlyProficient in:Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) o QuickBooks (preferred)Procore or construction software experience is a plus
