Utility Handler Peoplelink Staffing is seeking dependable and hardworking Utility Handlers to support daily facility operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves a variety of general labor, material handling, housekeeping, and site support duties to help maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas across the facility. Job DetailsSchedule: Monday-Friday10-hour shifts 3:30 PM - 12:00 AMLocation: 100 N Rivian Motorway, Normal, IL 61761 Utility Handler Job SummaryPerform general labor and utility support tasks throughout dock, warehouse, recycling, and staging areasAssist with loading, unloading, staging, moving, and organizing materials and equipmentSupport housekeeping, cleanup, and maintenance of assigned work areasAssist operational teams based on daily business and facility needsWork in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying conditionsFollow all company safety, security, and compliance procedures at all times Essential FunctionsCommunicate professionally with supervisors, teammates, drivers, contractors, clients, and facility staffPerform assigned utility and support duties as directed by site leadership or supervisorsAssist with loading, unloading, transferring, staging, and organizing materials, supplies, and equipmentHelp maintain clean, organized, and safe dock, warehouse, recycling, and work areasFollow all ABM, client, and regulatory safety, security, and compliance standardsReport completed tasks, operational concerns, unsafe conditions, and damaged equipment promptly to supervisorsSupport daily workflow and operational efficiency across assigned areasWear required PPE and remain prepared for indoor and outdoor working conditions as needed Utility Handler ResponsibilitiesMaintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas at all timesSupport dock, warehouse, recycling, and site operations based on daily operational needsAssist with movement, sorting, staging, and disposal of materials in designated areasLoad, unload, transfer, and transport materials using proper lifting and safety proceduresAssist with trash removal, cardboard breakdown, recycling collection, and proper disposal processesSafely operate pallet jacks, carts, bins, balers, and other equipment when trained and assignedIdentify and report spills, blocked walkways, damaged equipment, or unsafe working conditions immediatelyAssist with maintaining inventory of supplies, tools, materials, and containersSupport site staff with cleanup, setup, breakdown, and special project assignmentsAttend and participate in required meetings, training sessions, and safety programsFollow all company, client, quality, safety, and security procedures and expectationsDemonstrate professional workplace behavior and teamworkPerform miscellaneous duties and additional tasks as assigned QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderMust meet all requirements to obtain required site badges, including successful completion of a background checkPrevious experience in general labor, warehouse, dock support, recycling, janitorial, or utility work preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standardsStrong communication, teamwork, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and follow instructionsWillingness to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Why Peoplelink Staffing?Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance available401(k) available after meeting eligibility requirementsDirect Deposit programs Peoplelink Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
