If so, this could be the opportunity for you.The RoleAs a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a key role in the production of highquality fabricated components that support advanced automation systems. You'll work across CNC machining, metal forming, and fabrication processes, contributing directly to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the department.You'll report to the Manufacturing Engineer and Scheduling Manager and work closely with Engineering, Fabrication, and Project Management teams.What You'll Be DoingOperate and support CNC Lathes and MillsPerform metal forming, including press brakes and rollsProgram CNC machines using SolidWorks CAMCoordinate machine centers in the automated metal prep area to maximize efficiency and minimize wasteDevelop machine operation standards to improve uptime and reduce tool wear or breakageMaintain tooling, fabrication programs, and machine healthTrain team members on CNC machinery as the department growsResearch and implement new tooling, methods, fluids, and fabrication improvementsSchedule and prioritize work within the departmentInterface with Engineering to resolve drawing, design, and manufacturability issuesInspect finished products using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measuresRead and interpret blueprints and work orders accuratelyWhat We're Looking ForQualifications & ExperienceProven experience in metal fabrication or machiningHigh school diploma or equivalent (onthejob training accepted)Strong mechanical aptitudeExperience working in a fastpaced manufacturing environmentConveyor experience is a plusSkills & AttributesComfortable with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, email)Driven selfstarter with a positive attitudeStrong interpersonal skillsAble to work independently or as part of a teamHigh attention to safety, quality, and organizationReliable attendance and punctualityPhysical RequirementsAble to stand, bend, and occasionally climb short ladders for an 8hour shiftAble to lift and move up to 50 lbsAvailable to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as neededWhat We OfferCompetitive payHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off (vacation, holidays, sick time)Optional uniformsA clean, safetyfocused manufacturing environmentOpportunities to grow your skills and influence process improvementsReady to build something that matters?Apply today and become part of a team that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and innovation in automation.About UsBoston Conveyor and Automation (BCA), part of the Mpac Group, is located in beautiful Newburyport, Massachusetts.
