By bridging the gap between corporate needs and local eateries, the company provides high-value growth for restaurant partners while supporting its own distributed team of over 800 employees across more than 40 states.About the OpportunityThe Internal Communications Lead is a strategic role designed to foster connectivity and clarity within a remote-hybrid workforce. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Content, you will be the architect of the internal narrative, ensuring that every employee—regardless of location—is aligned with the company’s strategic priorities and culture. This is a high-visibility position that requires partnering with senior leadership to drive engagement, manage change, and cultivate a sense of belonging across a large, distributed organization.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop and lead internal communication initiatives that support organizational growth, company culture, and change management.Editorial Management: Own the internal communications editorial calendar, ensuring all messaging is consistent with business strategy and timed for maximum impact.Channel Orchestration: Determine the most effective messages and channels for delivery, including Slack, email, Confluence, company-wide meetings, and live events.Content Innovation: Experiment with new media and communication methods, tracking engagement metrics to continuously refine how the company speaks to its people.Storytelling: Build cross-departmental relationships to uncover and share compelling stories that highlight employee successes and organizational milestones.Leadership Advisory: Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure transparency and alignment during pivotal organizational shifts.RequirementsExperience: 7+ years in professional communications, with a strong preference for those who have led internal communications for remote or hybrid companies.Strategic Translation: Proven ability to turn complex business goals into relatable, effective communication strategies that resonate with people and culture.Communication Mastery: Exceptional written, visual, and verbal skills; experience drafting high-stakes emails, executive presentations, and keynote speeches.Executive Presence: Confidence in collaborating with and providing constructive feedback to senior leaders regarding their messaging and delivery.Adaptability: Strong organizational skills and the agility to manage multiple high-priority workstreams in a fast-moving tech environment.Travel: Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team events and onsite gatherings.Compensation & BenefitsCompensationTarget Total Cash: $129,000 – $164,000 annually (includes base salary and bonus target).Note: Final offers are based on experience, expertise, and geographic region.Benefits & PerksFinancial: Market-competitive salary, stock options, and 401(k) with company match.Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and FSA benefits; long-term disability; mental health and family planning resources.Work-Life Balance: 12 paid holidays and flexible paid time off.Flexibility: Remote-hybrid work options (home, office, or both).Perks: Employee meal program and various workplace-specific benefits.Equal Opportunity StatementOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
