You’ll be the driving force behind our hardware solutions, with a sharp focus on mechanical and electrical design, manufacturing processes, and fluid dynamics. This role requires a deep understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal management, and capital equipment design, along with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in heat transfer/ HVAC, industrial equipment, or high-tech manufacturingExperience and knowledge of manufacturingFamiliarity with mechanical equipment relevant to data centers (Cooling Towers, Dry Colors, Chillers, Heat Exchangers, pumps, pipes & fittings, etc.)Experience with CAD & 3D Modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), CFD simulationsField experience with mechanical equipment (Coolers, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, etc.)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Preferred QualificationsExperience in the cryptocurrency mining or data center industrySome understanding of bitcoin mining hardware (ASICs, GPUs) and their thermal management requirementsKnowledge of heat transfer solutions that would be in a typical data centerFamiliarity with BMS systems relevant to the data center industryCertification in mechanical engineering (e.g., PE license) or relevant professional affiliations
