Now Hiring: Shift Manager at Burger KingPay Rate: $13 per hour Position OverviewThe Shift Manager works under the direction of the Restaurant Manager. They work directly with team members and operate shifts in a restaurant. As a Shift Manager, there are multiple levels of responsibility and development. Progression through these levels is based on demonstrated skills, experience, and operational knowledge.ProfitabilityFollows all cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counts and cash drawer management)Maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly inventory inspectionsReceives and verifies inventory truck ordersGuestMotivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations by providing accurate, fast, and friendly service in a clean environmentPeopleProvides coaching and feedback to Team Members to strengthen team capabilities and improve restaurant performanceOperationsSets a positive example for Team Members by executing shift plans and driving operational resultsDirects the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to ensure prompt delivery within established speed-of-service guidelinesMotivates Team Members throughout the shift across all workstationsReviews restaurant results to identify successes and opportunities for improvementEnsures the restaurant consistently upholds operational and brand standardsQualifications And SkillsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageHigh school diploma or GED required; two (2) years of college preferredOne to two (1–2) years of previous quick-service restaurant experienceDemonstrated understanding of guest service principlesAvailable to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed to support restaurant operations
