Material Handler-Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a *Material Handler *in our Elmhurst location. If you have experience working with *HVAC *materials a *forklift *and or prior *RF Gun* in a warehouse environment this is the position for you! As a *Material Handler*, you will: Work in warehouses and production facilities to move products. This may include finding materials on the shelves and wrapping them and putting them on a delivery truck, or pulling materials off the truck and putting them in the proper shelf spot. *Job Description * * Receive shipments using a warehouse management tool * Put away/locate all items received * Verify correct items and quantities on all receipts * Inspect all items for damage prior to signing and accepting items * Pick and ship all outgoing shipments including UPS, LTL, Truckload, Local Carrier and Messenger Services * Perform counts of inventory * Load/Unload using forklift both box and flatbeds * Use appropriate fork extenders as required for larger units * Inform Warehouse Manager of all discrepancies, damage, etc. * Maintain warehouse organization and appearance * All other duties as assigned A successful *Material Handler* will possess the following: * Prior forklift experience a plus * Prior Radio Frequency (RF) Gun experience * HVAC knowledge (previous field experience preferred) _Affliated Parts is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law._ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
