Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Role descriptionTitle: Senior SQL Database AdministratorExperience: 10–12 yearsLocation: Moon Township - PennsylvaniaHybrid - 3 Days in a weekFulltimeKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and queries.Optimize SQL queries and database performance for high availability and scalability.Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.Perform database administration tasks including backups, restores, indexing, patching, and security management.Support production deployments and troubleshoot application/database-related incidents.Work closely with application development teams to understand business requirements and implement database solutions.Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and configurations.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.Assist in database migration and modernization initiatives, including cloud-based solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile or DevOps environments.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning.Experience with SQL Server Administration activities including backup/recovery, monitoring, indexing, and security.Knowledge of database design principles and normalization.Experience troubleshooting production database issues.Understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts.Familiarity with source control and deployment processes.Preferred / Nice to HaveExperience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, or Azure DevOps.Exposure to cloud migration or hybrid cloud environments.Experience with Power BI or reporting tools.Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Other detailsActual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with LTIMindtree (“LTIM”):Benefits and Perks:Comprehensive Medical Plan Covering Medical, Dental, VisionShort Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage401(k) Plan with Company matchLife InsuranceVacation Time, Sick Leave, Paid HolidaysPaid Paternity and Maternity LeaveThe range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations.
