You will focus on providing high quality Urgent Care as part of a healthcare team.Responsibilities:Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses and injuries - All agesPrescribe all necessary medications and treatmentsPerform comprehensive physical examinations of patientsDevelop and implement patient management policies and proceduresFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesCommunicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient careAvailable some evenings/weekends/holidaysAble to work as solo providerQualifications:Previous experience as a P.A. or N.P.Ability to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesAbility to provide quick and appropriate medical servicesExperience with wound closures, I&Ds, and casting/splinting
