Supply Chain Manager

Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Inventory management Responsible for the long-term forecastingConfirmation of purchase orders for all raw materials and equipmentEstablish sound inventory management standards to optimize functional costs across Operations, Logistics and ProcurementCollaborate with third-party logistics partners for warehousing, fulfilment, storage cost and reverse logistics ComplianceEnsure overall quality meets regulatory& compliances Freight forwardingFreight Forwarder ManagementCoordinate with freight forwarders for inbound, import, and export operationsNegotiate shipping schedules and freight rates to ensure cost effective transportation of goods Procurement In-charge of localizing core and non-core goods (subject to review by Headquarters)Perform direct procurement activitiesPerform supplier performance managementPerform supplier relationship managementCOGS cost controlCoordinate communication related to Product Quality Non-Conformance (PQNC)Invoice Verification and System Entry and AccuracyPayment reconciliation Coordination and CommunicationCoordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory levels with business needs.Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of inventory items System and Process Optimization: Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels efficiently.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory management.Continuously optimize warehouse and logistics operations processes to improve overall operational efficiency and reduce operational costs. Risk ManagementMonitor inventory for any potential risks, such as expiration dates, damages, or obsolescence.Develop strategies to mitigate risks and reduce inventory holding costs. New Product launchCoordinating with China Headquarters assisting in the launch of new products.Perform new product survey related project. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assignedRequirementBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in supply chain management are a plus.Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in logistics and supply chain management.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
