Systems Engineer (Full Stack) – Hybrid | Reston, VA Salary Range: $135,000–$145,000 Work Schedule: Hybrid (1–2 days per week onsite in Reston, VA) Active government clearance or Public Trust clearance preferred Experience: 10+ years About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Full Stack) to support enterprise‑level infrastructure and application environments. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full‑stack solutions that integrate cloud systems, data platforms, and secure application frameworks. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with hands‑on engineering experience across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain full‑stack systems supporting enterprise applications Design and implement cloud‑based solutions (AWS and/or Azure) for scalability and reliability Manage system integrations, APIs, and data pipelines across distributed environments Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration management Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system security, performance, and compliance Automate operational tasks using scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) Troubleshoot complex system issues and lead root‑cause analysis Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or full‑stack development Strong background in Windows/Linux administration Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Proficiency in Docker, virtualization, and system monitoring tools Solid understanding of SQL, database management, and performance optimization Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancing) Proven ability to support production environments and incident response Preferred Qualifications Active Public Trust or higher clearance Experience supporting federal or large enterprise environments Strong documentation and communication skills How to Apply Submit your resume to tinac@thebritegroup.com or apply directly through Indeed.
