Job#: 3032384Job Description:Senior Program Manager – IT DivestitureLocation: Hybrid (US-based; Houston or DC preferred)Engagement: Contract through 2027Work Model: Global, flexible hours (US / UK / Australia)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the entire IT workstream for a large‑scale global divestiture, separating into two independent companies. This role has full ownership of IT program execution, including standing up a new IT organization, managing multiple project managers and workstreams, and ensuring safe, disciplined delivery across all technology domains.This individual serves as the single point of accountability for IT program operations throughout the divestiture lifecycle and works closely with executives, business leaders, and technical teams to deliver a successful separation.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the end‑to‑end IT divestiture program for the separationEstablish and execute the IT roadmap, governance model, and delivery cadenceStand up the new IT organization, including operating model, governance, and processesManage and coordinate multiple Project Managers and IT workstream leadsOversee all IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, identity, security, network, data, and operationsDrive dependency management, risk mitigation, and issue resolution across both organizations during coexistenceProvide clear, executive‑level reporting on status, risks, and readinessPartner with business, legal, HR, finance, security, and external vendors to ensure alignment and complianceRequired QualificationsMust‑Have Experience10+ years of enterprise IT program management experienceDirect, hands‑on experience leading global IT divestitures or carve‑outs (required)Proven success managing large, complex, multi‑workstream programsExperience standing up or operating a new IT organization or operating modelLeadership & DeliveryDemonstrated ability to manage and mentor other PMs and workstream leadsStrong execution discipline with the confidence to drive decisions and accountabilityExecutive‑level communicator with the ability to translate IT risk into business impactTechnical AcumenBroad understanding of enterprise IT landscapes (applications, infrastructure, identity, security, integrations)Technically credible with architects and engineers (not a hands‑on implementation role)Global Operating ModelExperience running programs across multiple regions and time zonesFlexible schedule to support US, UK, and Australia stakeholdersWillingness to travel periodically for key workshops or leadership sessionsEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
