Description General Summary:The Engineering Intern assists the Manufacturing Engineering Team with production projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital justifications. The position provides hands-on engineering experience in an Aerospace facility.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications.Generated drawings from modelsEditorial changes on tool sheet or setup instructionsCreate work instructions on jobs or special processesSpecial projects, such as implementation of Zoller softwareSubmission on flight safety documentsFixture designsWorks on other projects as assigned by ManagerThis position pays $20 per hour. Position Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Junior/Senior Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing EngineerThorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferredExtremely well-organized with superior attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask, work in a high pace environment and meet deadlines.
