Job description: Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Structural Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling heavy structural components of aerospace vehicles with precision and adherence to strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret detailed schematics and blueprints. Duties Assemble aerospace structural components by following detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to ensure accurate fit and alignment. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately to guide assembly procedures. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or manufacturing environment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions promptly. Support warehouse operations including material handling with equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly roles within the aerospace or related industries is highly preferred. Proficiency with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with mechanical tools including calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and machining tools. Knowledge of fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment like forklifts is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail for precise assembly work. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
