Business Development - Industrial Manufacturing

Job DescriptionHouston, TX: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Business Development Specialist with expertise in the oil and gas pipeline industry.Essential Duties: Gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements, including technical specifications and client objectives. Collaborate with the sales manager, engineering, and production management teams to ensure project feasibility, accurate pricing, and realistic scheduling. Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining and providing exceptional support for existing clients. Formulate detailed proposals and bids following thorough project evaluations and aligning with client specifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients' products, services, and key personnel, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to inquiries. Work independently to manage multiple projects, follow written and verbal instructions precisely, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Stay informed about FTS's comprehensive range of products and services, including heat exchangers, emissions control equipment for gas turbines, expansion joints, ductwork for gas turbines, SCR & CO catalysts, air inlet filter housing, skids, and piping. Requirements/Skills: Proven experience in oil and gas pipeline sales and marketing, with a strong track record of developing and maintaining client relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated and professional demeanor, capable of interacting effectively with clients, vendors, and coworkers. Ability to take and retain detailed notes, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong understanding of the compliance requirements in the oil and gas industry and ability to leverage this knowledge to secure high-margin business. Experience with oil and gas pipeline-related products and services; familiarity with fabrication shops and large auxiliary equipment for gas turbines is advantageous. Possession of a valid driver's license and appropriate insurance. Existing network and book of business in the power generation plants, pipeline companies, and refineries sectors. Physical Requirements: Ability to adapt focus and tasks quickly and efficiently. Capability to work varied hours as needed to meet client and project demands.
