A plaintiff-focused personal injury and workers' compensation law firm in Edison, NJ is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about advocating for injured workers and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced litigation environment. Spanish fluency is a strong plus.ResponsibilitiesManage a high-volume caseload of workers' compensation matters from initial intake through resolutionDraft and file petitions, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents with the New Jersey Division of Workers' CompensationCoordinate and track medical appointments, IMEs, and treatment authorizationsRequest, organize, and summarize medical records, wage records, and other case-critical documentsCommunicate regularly with clients, medical providers, employers, insurance carriers, and opposing counselCalendar and monitor deadlines, hearings, and statute of limitations datesAssist attorneys in hearing preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordinationQualifications3+ years of workers' compensation paralegal experience, preferably on the plaintiff sideFamiliarity with New Jersey Division of Workers' Compensation procedures and filing requirementsSpanish fluency a significant plus — bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to applyProficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyCompassionate, client-focused approach with excellent written and verbal communication skillsCompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
