CNC Field Service Engineer/TechnicianOverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools at customer locations. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and the ability to travel frequently.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair CNC machine tools at customer sites or provide remote supportDiagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform corrective actionsCreate and maintain technical service documentation and reportsAnalyze service data and generate routine and ad-hoc reportsCollaborate with internal teams and Customer Service Engineers on service activitiesTrain customers and service teams on installation and maintenance of new equipmentBuild strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality service supportHandle customer concerns professionally and ensure timely resolutionTravel extensively (up to 50%) for on-site service supportRequirements3–5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and troubleshootingStrong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PLC systemsExperience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens is a plusAbility to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logicStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel frequently across assigned regionsEducationAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred
