Assistant Project ManagerWe are currently representing a well-established commercial contractor seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support project execution across a wide range of construction projects in Los Angeles and Orange County. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow into a Project Manager role. You will work closely with the PM, Superintendent, and project teams from preconstruction through closeout while gaining hands-on experience across multiple disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers with contract administration, budgeting, and schedulingCoordinate submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders across all phases of constructionAssist with bid analysis, subcontractor procurement, and purchase ordersHelp maintain and update project schedules in collaboration with field teamsPrepare and distribute meeting minutes, status reports, and tracking logsCommunicate with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors regarding project requirementsContribute to project documentation, closeout packages, and warranty trackingEnsure adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and quality expectationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred2–5 years of experience in a construction project support roleFamiliarity with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft ProjectStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing prioritiesEagerness to grow into a leadership role within the project management teamCompensation + BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience100% employer-paid medical insurance premiums401(k) with company matchThree weeks of paid vacation per yearPaid holidays and sick leaveOngoing professional development and career growth opportunities
