Senior Data Engineer

IntroductionJoin our dynamic team where you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions. You will work with large volumes of data efficiently and accurately, collaborating with stakeholders to meet data requirements and ensure optimum performance.Required Skills & Qualifications7 years of experience in data engineering and 10 years in software development with AI/ML.Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Cloud Functions.Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Dataflow, or BigQuery.Experience designing and maintaining data warehouse solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).Experience developing or integrating AI/ML models and rule-based expert systems.Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful or gRPC APIs.Prior work experience in the client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with advanced GCP services like Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery ML.Understanding of Generative AI principles and architectures, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements.Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions, including data pipelines and data platforms.Ensure optimum performance and identify improvement opportunities in data infrastructure.Lead the implementation of CI/CD workflows and drive engineering best practices.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
