Associate Capture ManagerTrident Space Electronics Systems (SES) seeks a highly capable Associate Capture Manager to lead business development efforts that support capture, pricing, and proposal development. Operating within the RF & Digital Systems (RDS) Business Area, this role is critical for securing the next generation of space technology contracts.The Associate Capture Manager acts as a strategic architect for new business, transforming raw leads into winning bids. You will be responsible for navigating the procurement landscape, while shaping customer requirements and outmaneuvering competitors. By blending technical literacy in RF and digital systems with sharp business acumen, you will drive the capture lifecycle, ensure cross-functional alignment, and directly increase our organization's win rates in the competitive space electronics market.Duties and Responsibilities Supports the pursuit of new business opportunities by developing strategies, researching competitors, and coordinating proposal inputs. Assist senior managers in identifying qualified leads, shaping requirements, and managing the capture lifecycle to increase win rates.Support and Develop Capture Strategies: Assist in developing and executing capture plans, focusing on solution positioning and "pricing-to-win" strategiesResearch & Intelligence: Conduct competitor assessments, customer research, and gap analyses to increase win probability.Opportunity Management: Maintain capture artifacts, support customer call plans, and prepare documentation for milestones and bid reviews.Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between Business Development, Proposal Management, and technical teams to ensure alignment across the capture lifecycle.Pricing: Develop Pro-Pricer outputs to support "Quick Turn" Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and formal bids.Requirement Parsing: Ingest, index, and parse incoming RFPs/RFQs into internal proposal systems.System Management: Maintain and update CRM, JIRA, and SharePoint environments.Technical Facilitation: Facilitate the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and requirement matrixes as neededAbility to support travel or off-site work, as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience (OR 4+ years' experience a Master's degree)Experience in technical sales, business development, or proposal writing, preferably within the space industry.An active US Security Clearance or the ability to obtain (requires US citizenship)Familiarity with the Shipley-based Capture Lifecycle and federal procurement processes.Working knowledge of commercial and government contracting requirements.Proficiency in MS Word, SharePoint, Jira, and CRM systems.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree focus in Engineering, Computer Science OR Business Management.Strong persuasive communication and negotiation skills.Proven track record in developing successful quotes and proposals for complex productsTrident Systems reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position.BenefitsHired applicants may be eligible for benefits including but not limited to:Health benefits MedicalDentalVisionBasic life with AD&DShort term disabilityLong term disabilityAncillary (Voluntary life with AD&D, accident, critical illness, hospital, and pet)Spending accounts (HSA, FSA, and DCFSA)Paid time offHolidays401(k) (including company match)Tuition reimbursementLeaves (Parental, maternity, and military)Annual discretionary bonus (for eligible roles)Trident Solutions is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
