Civil Engineer Designer - Mission Critical

If you're ready to apply your experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, this role is for you.What you'll do • Prepare site development construction drawings for mission critical and data center projectsDesign water, sewer, storm drainage, and complex underground utility infrastructure systemsDevelop engineering design considerations and supporting calculations for site development projectsPrepare reports, specifications, permit applications, and supporting documentationModel and design infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surface creation and utility layoutsAnalyze site data, existing conditions, and entitlements to support client site selection effortsParticipate in client meetings and multidisciplinary coordination, providing technical input and guidanceReview work prepared by other team members for quality and consistencyManage tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals in a fast-paced project environmentWhat you bring • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited universityEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months (PE path preferred)3+ years of experience designing land development projects using Civil 3DWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applicationsExperience with surface modeling and underground utility design preferredInterest or experience in plan and profile design of water/sewer systems; duct bank design experience a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage in client interactionsProven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflowStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-driven environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteWhy Thomas & Hutton? • Competitive salary plus performance bonusCondensed work schedule for better work-life balanceTop-tier health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage401(k), generous PTO, holidays, and tuition assistanceThomas & Hutton University and hands-on Civil 3D mentoring to advance your careerSchedule:On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.How to apply:Ready to design critical infrastructure that powers tomorrow's technology?
