Warehouse Team LeadLocation:Pooler, Ga.Schedule: Full-TimeWe are seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations and help guide a high-performing team. This role oversees warehouse staff in completing daily activities such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control while supporting leadership with operational planning and team development.The Warehouse Team Lead is a working leadership role, responsible for both supervising team members and working alongside them to ensure productivity, safety, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign daily tasks to warehouse employees based on workload and experienceSupport operational and financial goals by maintaining productivity, quality, and customer service standardsMaintain warehouse organization, floor space utilization, and housekeeping following 5S principlesAssist with new employee onboarding and trainingMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and physical countsAct as a Safety Champion and change agent to promote a safe and efficient work environmentSecure the warehouse facility by managing alarm systems and locking proceduresMonitor team performance and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelinesTrain and certify equipment operators on the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipmentProvide coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor during PTO or absences (excluding payroll and disciplinary actions)Work alongside the warehouse team to complete operational tasks as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution, or 3PL leadership experience preferredAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projectsStrong communication and team leadership skillsEffective problem-solving skills and root cause analysis abilitiesExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferredStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and OutlookEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move products up to 50 lbs without equipment assistanceAbility to stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of equipment during shiftsAbility to operate computers and office equipment regularlyWork in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures (not climate-controlled)Occasional work outdoors in varying weather conditionsApply now at https://hrcenter.ontempworks.com/en/selecsource For more information, give us a call at 912-330-8791 or email savannah@selecsource.com.SSLIPSSLI
