DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Front-End Web Designer/Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC*While most working days will be remote, there may be the occasional need to be on-site.*Local candidates onlyJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a Front-End Web Designer/Developer who will support the ongoing UX design and front-end development and support needs for enterprise web application and website solutions. These solution requests from business users are outpacing capacity and are needed to support business processes like SharePoint reporting, ServiceNow design, SAP design, and Drupal Digital Commons work. The primary focus is to build and support accessible web UI components and support user experience consistency across enterprise web solutions. The complexity of these responsibilities is essential to ensure that critical web applications remain accessible, consistent, and adequately supported, and without this supplemental staffing, growing UX and front-end demands will outpace capacity, delay key business processes and risk diminished service quality.Responsibilities:Create, update, and refresh web component and user interface prototypesBuild HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript in accessible ways for content management systems and enterprise productsWork cross-team to bring user interface consistencyPerform training sessions/webinars for business customers on created apps/sites/toolsRequired Skills:5 Years - JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency3 Years - Vue.js4 Years - State management with signals or reactive stores3 Years - Web performance optimization3 Years - Accessibility (WCAG 2.2+) best practices3 Years - User experience design4 Years - Integration w/systems like SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, etc.1 Year - AI-assisted development and workflow automation4 Years - Website Accessibility testing5 Years - Semantic HTML structure and accessibility foundations5 Years - Modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, variables, theming)Desired Skills:3 Years - Vite for modern build tooling3 Years - Design systems and component library architectureThis opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
