Position: Drafting ManagerLocation: Collinsville, OKPay: $100,000/yearExperience5 years of experience with ASME Section I boilers and pressure vessels is desired. 5 years of experience with pressure vessels, power piping, ducting, structural support steel, and/or platforms are required.Education: Associate’s degree in drafting or a B.S. in Mechanical EngineeringType: Full-time; ContractSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmProRecruiters is seeking a Drafting Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!Job DescriptionReview job requests, assign tasks to CAD and document control teams, and ensure timely completion of work.Oversee department operations to ensure drawings and details are accurate, complete, and error-free.Create project schedules for drawings and data to support fabrication timelines and material lead times.Monitor team workload and publish biweekly capacity schedules.Coordinate with other departments to adjust schedules, meet deadlines, and prevent procurement or fabrication delays.Direct material selection with engineer approval and ensure drafting teams receive complete project information.Oversee the delivery of drawings, data, and related information to internal departments.Troubleshoot shop fabrication and job site issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions.Support engineering with layouts, new equipment designs, and equipment modifications.Partner with HR to hire, train, evaluate staff, and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions.Position RequirementsMust be motivated, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing schedules and demands.Strong written and verbal skills are required.Leadership experience with excellent time management and organizational skills.Creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions.Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and quality.ProRecruiters is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
