Warehouse Associate / Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Overview Join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, and Forklift Operator! In this role, you will be the part of our distribution operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our facility. Your day to day duties will include forklift operation, materials handling, grinding and shredding machine operation and warehouse duties keeping our supply chain running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a team environment while contributing to a vital part of our business. M-F 8:00a-4:00p Responsibilities Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and assist in grinding and shredding operations of our plastic recycling operations. Manage shipping and receiving processes by inspecting incoming shipments, verifying order accuracy, and preparing items for outbound delivery. Maintain inventory control through proper use of warehouse management systems , conducting regular stock counts and updates. Assist with equipment repair and basic maintenance to ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, stacking pallets correctly, and adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow, improve safety protocols, and enhance overall warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts (including pallet jacks and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for equipment maintenance. Familiarity with safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina for shifts involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy verification. Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred but not required.
