Payroll Supervisor Job Summary: Join our team as a Payroll Supervisor where you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll operations. Your expertise in , , , , , and will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. You will lead a team to analyze payroll data, maintain compliance with regulations, and optimize payroll processes for efficiency. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate payroll activities, including processing paychecks, calculating wages, and ensuring accuracy of employee records. - Utilize or similar software to manage payroll functions and generate reports for analysis. - Collaborate with the HR department to ensure seamless integration between payroll and HR systems. - Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. - Oversee the preparation of payroll tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Analyze general ledger accounts related to payroll transactions and reconcile discrepancies as needed. - Provide training and guidance to staff on payroll processes, policies, and best practices. - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in payroll regulations to ensure compliance. Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus. - Proven experience in with a strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles. - Proficiency in using payroll software such as or similar systems for processing payroll. - Ability to analyze complex payroll data and generate detailed reports for management review. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Nice-to-have Skills: - Familiarity with advanced payroll analytics tools for data interpretation and forecasting. - Experience with implementing automated payroll systems for increased efficiency. - Knowledge of labor laws and regulations pertaining to overtime, deductions, and benefits administration.
