Job Description
Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision to VASH Program Staff. Provide supervision and review of clinical documentations, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and any other clinical documentation as it arises in the client record in adherence with VA VASH rules and regulations.Assist in ensuring productivity goals and outcomes are achieved including a minimum of 60% of staff time being in direct service provision across VASH program sites.Oversee effective referral and coordination of services with social services providers to ensure clinically appropriate services are provided to clients who are working with supervisees. Oversee the lease up, screening and intake processes and maintain appropriate records. Help develop, streamline, and update the intake process to provide timely and effective services to members. Monitor program enrollment and ensure delivery of services to all VASH resident participants. • Provide leadership in clinical crises.Participate in New Directions' clinical quality assurance program and ensure the implementation of quality improvement activities within the program to ensure ongoing quality outcomes. Attend meetings and conferences upon request and prepare a verbal and/or written summary to supervisor. Assist Director of Permanent Supportive Housing in distributing caseloads for appropriate and effective matching between VASH residents, clinicians, and peer support specialists. Assist Program Manager and Program Director in developing and delivering the day to day and oversee training needs of the staff.Assist VASH Program Manager in completing required reporting to VA as outlined by contract requirements. Ensures appropriate data collection and reporting as required by VA VASH, Housing Authorities and New Directions management. Prepares for inspections and liaison with government agencies during clinical and fiscal audits. Assist Permanent Supportive Housing Director in ensuring all member paperwork and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and all necessary electronic databases.Provide input, evaluation, and updates regarding VASH program as requested.Serves as chief liaison and administrator for the Electronic Health Record Keeping System. Other duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceLPS Designation/Eligible Active, current license as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT registered with the CA BBS Minimum two years' experience working with SMI, SUDs and dually-diagnosed individuals with comorbid disorders and homelessness.
