CNAs work collaboratively with skilled clinicians and a team of nurses to provides direct care to residents following an individualized plan of care. CNAs are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals, while encouraging the resident to do as much of their own care as they are able.CNA Job Qualifications And RequirementsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentValid Driver’s LicenseMust be a Florida-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to staff, residents, families, and community membersMust be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior populationAll applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening
