Senior Engineer

Position Overview:Controls engineer will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and programscoordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Transmissions.Key Responsibilities:• Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.• Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion SystemCommunity as primary interface.• Coordinating Controls Features development.• Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns to over all programmilestones and objectives.• Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment andRisk mitigation.• Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovativework environment.• Ensure rigorous validation of control functions to meet and exceed specifiedrequirements throughout the vehicle development cycle.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other engineering units to drive thedevelopment of cutting-edge controls technology.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in controls engineering processes,methodologies, and technologies.Qualifications & Skills Required:• As need to work on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a proven record of working on his/her own initiative and within a team delivering high quality and robust technical solutions.• Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience (2 years in automotive)• Ability to work in an Agile environment.• Previous experience as Controls/SW developer using Matlab Simulink/Stateflow, Embedded C, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus• Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable.• Familiarity with software development tools and debugging techniques.• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly.
