SAP FICA Consultant

Role OverviewThe SAP FICA Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing SAP FICA functionality to meet evolving business and operational requirements. This role partners closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements, identify gaps, recommend solutions, and ensure effective system performance. The position includes functional support, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and collaboration on integrations, process improvements, and enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep SAP FICA expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions in a complex enterprise setting.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and enhance SAP FICA functionality in alignment with business and operational needsPartner with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and recommend solutionsConfigure and maintain SAP FICA modules and related financial processesTroubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and support resolution effortsAssist with integrations between SAP FICA and other SAP modules or connected business systemsSupport testing efforts including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testingCreate and maintain functional documentation, process flows, configuration details, and training materialsHelp identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiencyCollaborate with project teams on enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or ongoing support initiativesProvide day-to-day functional support and guidance to business usersRequired Qualifications/Skills5+ years of experience working with SAP FICABachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldStrong understanding of SAP configuration, support, and functional designExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutionsKnowledge of financial operations, billing, collections, account maintenance, and related processesExperience supporting testing, documentation, and end-user supportAbility to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and external partnersStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in a manufacturing or large enterprise environment is a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP integrations to other financial or customer-related modulesExperience supporting process improvements or transformation initiativesPrior experience in a hybrid business/IT liaison roleExposure to SAP S/4HANA or related modernization efforts is a plusLocations: Pittsburgh, PAAbout Techstra SolutionsTechstra Solutions is a certified woman-owned (WBENC) management consulting firm specializing in strategy, technology, and implementation services for large organizations undergoing digital and talent transformation.
