Head of Technical Delivery

TruTechnologies is seeking a Head of Technical Delivery to lead the team responsible for configuring customer workflows and delivering successful platform implementations. Reporting to the CTO, this leader will oversee a highly cross-functional, client-facing function that partners closely with Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Product, Engineering, and Quality. The role is central to ensuring customers are implemented effectively and that the delivery model can scale as the business grows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Technical Delivery function and provide direction for how the team supports customer implementations. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team responsible for workflow configuration and implementation delivery. Build more consistent and scalable delivery processes, tools, and best practices. Partner closely with Customer Success and Pre-Sales to support smooth customer onboarding, implementation, and ongoing engagement. Serve as a key liaison across customer-facing and technical teams, helping ensure strong communication, alignment, and execution. Work with Product and Engineering to identify recurring implementation needs and opportunities to improve internal tools and platform capabilities. Help codify and institutionalize delivery knowledge so the team can execute more efficiently and with less reliance on tribal knowledge. Strengthen the team’s client-facing effectiveness by bringing a thoughtful, consultative approach to customer interactions. Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and operating rhythms that support scale and accountability. Promote high standards for execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Qualifications10+ years of experience in technical delivery, implementation, solutions engineering, professional services, or a related function within B2B SaaS or enterprise software. 3+ years of people management experience.Experience leading complex, client-facing implementations in a configurable software environment. Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical or workflow-based solutions. Proven track record of building or improving delivery processes, playbooks, and team operating models. Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholder groups. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to navigate complex customer and internal conversations. Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on engagement where needed. Experience in clinical trials or other regulated environments is a plus but not required.
