You owe it to yourself to consider this great new opportunity.Mechanical Assembler1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $17.00/hr.2nd Shift: 3:24 PM – 11:54 PM | $18.70/hr.Electronic Assembler1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $18.25/hr.2nd Shift: 3:24 PM – 11:54 PM | $19.95/hr.Why You Should Apply To Be Electronic/Mechanical AssemblerCompetitive pay rate with overtime opportunitiesWork in a collaborative, safety-focused team environmentBuild valuable skills in electronics and mechanical assembly with a leading organizationOpportunities for growth and cross-training in multiple manufacturing processesWhat’s a typical day as Electronic/Mechanical Assembler you’ll be:Assembling a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and optical products by following detailed written instructions and blueprintsPerforming soldering tasks and demonstrating proficiency meeting J-STD certification standardsAssembling, preparing, and molding wire harnesses and cable assembliesInspecting parts, assemblies, and products throughout the production process to ensure quality standardsPerforming tests on assemblies, as well as preventive maintenance on tools and equipmentUsing hand tools and manual, semi-automatic, and automatic assembly/test equipmentComplying with ESD requirements and all safety guidelinesMaintaining a clean, organized work area and contributing to 5S and continuous improvement activitiesCommunicating with other shifts as needed regarding job status and production updatesThis Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If YouHave a minimum of 6 months’ experience as an electronic assembler with proven soldering proficiencyAre able to complete J-STD soldering certification and pass a soldering skill evaluationCan read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructionsHave a basic understanding of computersAre willing and able to rotate through different manufacturing processes and work overtime as scheduledCan stand for up to 8 hours per day, bend, stoop, use hands, and lift up to 35 lbs. unassistedPossess unaided or corrected visual acuity of at least 20/40 in each eye at 20 feet, with the ability to distinguish colorsHold a high school diploma or equivalentWhat Happens NextOnce you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
