CDL Class A Driver

Job Description Position Summary We are hiring on behalf of our client for a CDL Class A Driver / Yard Laborer in Albertville, MN. This is a local delivery driver position with home daily routes, steady hours, and a mix of truck driving + warehouse/yard work. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a Class A CDL truck for local deliveriesDeliver roof trusses, floor trusses, and building materials to residential construction sitesPerform load securement (strapping, chaining) and ensure safe transportComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DOT compliant)Assist with loading/unloading lumber and materialsSupport yard operations, warehouse work, and general labor tasksOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment (as needed)Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safelyQualifications & SkillsValid Class A CDL licenseClean driving record and safe driving historyExperience with flatbed, construction, or lumber delivery (preferred)Ability to perform physical work (lifting, loading, outdoor work)Forklift experience is a plus (not required)Experience in warehouse, yard, construction, or manufacturing environments is helpfulStrong attendance, reliability, and safety mindsetEmployment Type & CompensationThis is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire positionPay rate is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experienceApplication Window: Open until filledWork ScheduleMonday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMNo nightsNo weekendsNo overnight routesStable, year-round work in construction, lumber, and building materialsBenefitsPaid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision insuranceBereavement LeaveRetirement, 401(k)Personal AdvancementEmployer Information This position is being recruited by NCW on behalf of a client company.
