Safety Manager
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the plant safety program at the site-specific level, assuring all required training, reporting, and documentation is completed while enforcing accountability for safety violations. Physically monitor all production processes on a daily basis to correct any safety violations or issues as they happen.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct all OSHA and Company required safety trainingProperly maintain all training documents and records to include dates and attendance recordsPerform daily observations of all plant production to immediately correct any safety violations or issuesFacilitate quarterly safety committee meetings and maintain meeting minutesMake recommendations to current Company safety programMonitor accident trends and implement corrective actions or program changes to reduce accident frequencyInvestigate and report all accidents, near misses and observationsPartner with Corporate Safety Team on all issues relating to the Company safety programCreate a positive safety cultureRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Safety, Construction Management or related fieldBilingual is highly preferred for this rolePlus, a minimum 2-years' experience in an onsite-safety compliance roleOSHA 30 RequiredOSHA 510 or 511 is preferredBenefitsFULLTIME YEAR-ROUND WORKMedical, Dental & Vision Benefit's after 60 DaysCompetitive Compensation & Profit SharingAvailable Over Time401K with MatchInternal promotional opportunitiesCompany Sustainability - Since 1940Enterprise Properties, Inc. and its subsidiaries are an equal opportunity employer that complies with EEOC rules and regulations.
