Lead Journeyman Plumber

Job Description Immediately seeking a Lead Journeyman Plumber to join our team. Position is located in San Antonio. The Lead Plumber will run commercial projects and lead a crew of Apprentice Plumbers. Pay is $30/hr. Shift is 7am-4pmDuties:Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial new construction projectsRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawingsCoordinate daily work activities with project managers, general contractors, and other tradesInstall commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, gas, and storm drainage systemsLay out plumbing systems and verify measurements before installationEnsure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and project specificationsSchedule and assign tasks to crew members to maintain project timelinesTrain and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers on proper installation techniques and safety proceduresInspect completed work to ensure quality standards are metTroubleshoot and resolve installation or system issues in the fieldInstall piping systems (PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, PEX)Spervise and work with a 3-4-man crew of Apprentice plumbersWill work as a Journeyman on tools to assist with installsRequirements:Valid Journeyman Plumbing License required Previous lead experience requiredMust be able to read and interpret blueprints to meet deadlines and layout crew Will be required to work alongside crew of Apprentice Plumbers Must have tools and PPEStrong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standardsPlease call/text 210-664-2680vipstaffingzrsat
