Senior Digital / UX DesignerLocation: Fully remoteSchedule: 40 hours per week, ideally working EST hours but there's flexibility hereDuration: 3 to 6 month contract with intent to convert full timePay Rate: $50-$60 per hour W2Start: Mid AprilJob DescriptionOur client, a startup in the communications tech space, is seeking a Senior Digital /UX Designer to support their team on a full-time freelance basis, with the goal of converting this role to full time over time.This role is for a senior-level designer who is strong across UX, UI, and visual design. A lot of the work will be rooted in UX Design, but the team also needs someone comfortable designing for marketing needs - digital ads, emails, web/social graphics, landing pages. The ideal candidate thinks in systems, sweats the details, and works comfortably across strategy and execution. You will lead design thinking while also doing hands-on, pixel-level work.You will design across multiple products and surfaces, including high-impact marketing pages and complex comparison interfaces that help users understand pricing, plans, and trade-in details.What You Will DoDesign marketing pages where visual quality drives engagement and trust, including landing pages and editorial-style experiencesCreate clear, usable designs for dense information such as pricing, credits, and plan comparisonsRun user testing, identify friction, and translate insights into stronger designsWork closely with developers on implementation details, responsive behavior, and edge casesCollaborate with marketing and product teams on digital ads, video, and AI-related interfacesContribute to and maintain the design system while ensuring consistency across all touchpointsWhat You Should HaveStrong independent judgment with the ability to identify problems and propose solutionsSystems thinking with an understanding of how design decisions scale across productsExcellent visual and interaction design skillsStrong attention to detail across layout, hierarchy, and micro-interactionsAbility to adapt UX rules to context rather than applying rigid formulasComfort switching between different problem spaces and levels of fidelityAbility to work quickly without sacrificing qualityMaturity in prioritization, collaboration, and user advocacyToolsExpert-level Figma (components, autolayout, variables, prototyping)Basic HTML and CSS literacyComfortable working in JiraAnimation tools such as After Effects or Figma plugins are a plusBonus ExperienceTelecommunications, comparison platforms, or complex pricing UXTrust-building and conversion-focused designAI prototyping toolsStatic or animated ad creativeA willingness to challenge conventional design decisions when appropriateWhy This Role - Remote first, Real ownership, High standards, no ego, Small, fast-moving team that values craft!!If you enjoy solving complex information design problems and can shift seamlessly between high-level strategy and pixel-level execution, this role will be a strong fit.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
