Fabrication Technician
Machine and Saw OperatorMachine and Saw Operators are responsible for operating finishing machines and execute finish fabrication for projects including but not limited to assembly, specialty builds, saw and cutting machines, etc. to create high-quality production based on clients' specifications. The Machine and Saw Operator is responsible for accurately cutting materials to specified dimensions, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up, adjust, and operate equipment to cut materials including metal to specificationsOrganize and package completed pieces per orderRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurement toolsInspect materials for defects and ensure precise cuts to minimize wasteCollaborate with management and other operators to ensure deadlines are metPerform routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipmentFollow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environmentEnsures good housekeeping practices are followedPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
