Mobile Ultrasound Technician / LMRT or MRT

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mobile Ultrasound Technician and licensure as a Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) or MRT ARRT RT equivalent certification to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services directly at patient locations, supporting maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and diagnostic radiology departments. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging will be vital in delivering accurate diagnostics while ensuring exceptional patient care. Duties Operate portable ultrasound equipment to perform detailed sonographic examinations focused on maternal-fetal health, Ob/Gyn assessments, and general diagnostic imaging. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to acquire precise images necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning. Apply aseptic techniques rigorously during procedures to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infections. Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing questions with compassion and professionalism to ensure comfort and understanding. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging results, patient information, and procedural notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols related to medical imaging, including proper handling of equipment and radiation safety standards where applicable. Travel between various patient locations as needed, providing flexible support for maternal-fetal medicine clinics, obstetric units, or outpatient facilities. Experience Proven experience as a sonographer or ultrasound technician with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine or Ob/Gyn imaging preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to obstetrics, gynecology, and diagnostic radiology. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques including sonography and diagnostic radiology principles. Demonstrated ability to operate ultrasound equipment effectively in diverse clinical environments. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients and collaborating with healthcare teams. Knowledge of aseptic techniques essential for maintaining sterile procedures during examinations. Prior experience working in mobile healthcare settings or providing patient care outside traditional clinical environments is a plus.
