Senior Human Resources ManagerGreenwood Village, COTitle: Senior Human Resources ManagerState: ColoradoReports to: Senior Director of Human ResourcesSupervises: Employee Relations Specialists and assigned HR team membersFLSA: ExemptDepartment: Human ResourcesRevision/Creation Date: January 1, 2026Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 Position Mission: The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing people strategies that support organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. This position serves as a trusted advisor to field and corporate leadership teams, overseeing employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives. The Senior HR Manager will play a key role in shaping HR best practices, coaching leaders, and driving initiatives that promote Alvarado Restaurant Nation's culture and values across all regions.Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:Leadership & StrategyPartner with the Director of Human Resources to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.Lead and mentor the Employee Relations Specialist and other HR team members to ensure consistent execution of HR policies.Build relationships with the Field Operations team to ensure compliance matters, performance management initiatives, and other HR programs are well received and executed.Employee Relations & ComplianceLead Company's Performance Management pillar which includes PIP/Corrective Action process, creation of functional job descriptions, and effective document retention process.Oversee complex employee relations matters, investigations, and performance improvement plans; ensure equitable application of company policies and employment law.Support a "People First" culture by fostering open communication, trust, and accountability between employees and leadership.Stay current on changes to federal, state, and local labor laws; implement proactive compliance measures across all markets.Responsible for Policy Manual updates, overseeing all leaves and ensuring the company is compliant with all leave options in all states, and other compliance matters.Collaborate with the Sr. Director of HR to mitigate risk and maintain fair workplace practices.Talent Development & Engagement* Partner with Sr. Director of Human Resources on all HR training initiaves.* Lead annual performance review and compensation planning processes for assigned regions.HR Operations & Process ImprovementOversee the accuracy and compliance of HR data, personnel files, and reporting systems.Support implementation of new HR systems, tools, and processes that improve efficiency and data integrity.Lead and participate in special HR projects and cross-functional initiatives.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, compliance, and leadership coaching.Strong understanding of multi-state employment laws and regulations.Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage sensitive situations, and make data-driven decisions.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).Other Attributes:Must be a self-starter, process and solutions focusedEnthusiastic and strong driver of the company's Mission and Core ValuesRemain positive in high pressure and stressful situationsDemonstrates critical thinking, communication and relationship-building skillsConsistently takes initiative, works independently, sets priorities, makes judicious decisions, and meets deadlines.Finishes duties and projects as required and assigned in an efficient and timely manner.Understands what it takes to be successful in a matrixed organization and get stuff doneWorks additional hours as needed.Regular and punctual attendance.Benefits:Bonus - Potential 100% Discretionary Bonus.Medical Insurance - Eligible 1st of month after 60 days.401K Plan - Eligible after one year.Vacation - Two weeks after one year.Sick Leave - Granted per State requirement.Cell Phone allowance- $100/monthVehicle Allowance - Vehicle allowance paid by 3rd party provider.Physical Demands: Standard office work environment.
