Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing
This position will perform financial analysis and general accounting functions for a ProAmpac sector. This position will work closely with the Financial Operations team across the sector. Major areas of responsibility will be consolidating and reporting of monthly results, perform monthly closing activities for head office and corporate controllers’ group, perform supplier rebate entry. Reasonable accommodation may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Support basic accounting functions (account reconciliation, journal entries, Head Office P&Ls month end closeActual Report maintenance and roll-forwardLead quarterly Bad Debt and Obsolete Inventory processAssist on Chargeback entries (Medical / Dental / Workers compensation and any other centralized accounting entries)Assist Head office teams in all accounting related activities (coding invoices, managing R&D invoicing)Support procurement activities: monthly tracking and reporting of supplier rebatesAd-Hoc operations finance hub projects (i.e. R&D Credits, Safety Awards, etc.)Assist Hub accountants and work in parallel with Corporate Controller to determine efficiencies, if requiredTake over from a colleague in case of absenceOther duties as assigned.Qualifications, Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.3-5 + years of experience in accounting, month end closingSolid understanding of GAAPExperience in general accountingProficient in the use of computer hardware, spreadsheets, and wordSolid working knowledge of financial processes and related manufacturing.Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.Exceptional time management and organization skills.
