Third Shift Booster SupervisorBooster SupervisorOverview The Production Support Lead plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, safety, and service standards at the plant. This position serves as a key support to the Booster/Balloons Manager and is expected to be a hands-on leader who fosters strong relationships with team members, drives communication, and ensures smooth production processes.Key Responsibilities and DutiesUphold the company's top priorities: Safety and Service in all decisions and actions.Serve as the primary backup to the Booster/Balloons Manager.Be on-call 24/7, available by phone and on-site as needed, including overtime.Build and maintain strong relationships with team leaders and act as a trusted listener for employees.Manage inventory and ordering materials and products.Assist in creating, coordinating, and communicating the production schedule.Support tracking and reporting of production efficiencies.Complete Management of Change documentation and temporary work instructions.Develop expertise in plant operations, systems, and products.Troubleshoot operational issues and contribute to effective solutions with strong attention to detail.Support the manager in executing company policies and initiatives.Promote clear, consistent communication and be open to feedback.Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team engagement.Provide support during employee training and when challenges arise.Attend management meetings as a delegate when assigned.Use multiple communication methods to engage with employees. Demonstrate frequent coaching and mentoring across the team.Education and Experience18+ years of ageHigh School Diploma or G.E.DAbility to read and maintain proper documentationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in various environmental conditions (hot/cold, wet floors, loud environments)Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs regularly and stand/walk up to 10 hours per dayHigh manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudeAbility to work at heights or elevated surfaces for short periodsAvailability to work various shifts and overtime on short noticeAbility to work independently and lead a team effectivelyFlexibility to assist with additional duties as directed by the manager.Skills, Knowledge, and RequirementsSINCE 1833, IMPROVING THE WORLD WE LIVE IN.
